150th Expedition
Ride history. Not a tour. in 1876, the events of the Battle of the Little Bighorn changed the American West forever. In June of 2026, a limited number of riders will retrace that route on horseback - 150 years later. Immerse yourself in the history while you spend a week horseback. These experiences will include: retracing Custer's steps, visiting two battle sites from the 1874 Bozeman Expedition, riding the area around the Crow's Nest - the area where Custer first sighted the village, and riding to the Battlefield on the actual 150th Anniversary of the battle. You will do this in authentic uniforms from the period, while using authentic period tack.
You'll spend two nights camped on the Bozeman Trail.
Your stay includes a horse, homecooked meals, tent, sleeping bag, cot, and the option to participate in the Real Bird Reenactment of the Little Bighorn.
Participants must be 18 or older or youth 16 and up with a parent.
